A growing number of school districts are exploring cloud-based computing, and Google Applications for Education is the platform of choice for creating and sharing classroom assignments.
As I noted in a
recent blog, there are plenty of reasons for liking Google Apps: the ability for students to collaborate on work; the ability for teachers to review and comment on student work in real-time; the ability for anyone to access their work from anywhere and anytime; and revision history features that track all contributors and contributions to a file.
